Before he ever ran his own crew, Augusto Ferreira spent years installing floors across the Tampa Bay area for other companies. Over and over he watched homeowners get burned - vinyl glued down over a damp slab that buckled within a year, hardwood installed with no thought for Florida humidity, quotes that ballooned the moment a crew found something under the old flooring. He noticed the people getting hurt weren't picky. They just didn't know what to ask for.
In 2020, Augusto set out on his own and founded King Flooring & More right here in Brandon. The rule was simple from day one: measure the room properly, plan around our climate and slab foundations before a single plank goes down, and give homeowners one number they can trust. That's still how every job starts - a real look at your home, an honest quote, and a crew that treats your floors like we're the ones walking on them.
